We lose track of time
It’s SO easy to put off booking a photo session. I get it! The thing is, time goes by so fast. I think about the day our dog Hannah came home with us. I cannot believe it’s already been 6 years! That’s why I encourage people not to put this off…. that’s one reason a membership is super helpful.
My pet won’t hold still or can’t be off leash.
This is the case with most dogs I work with (especially puppies, who are perfect for this membership). Don’t worry! I have experience working with pets of all kinds, with all temperaments. I know how to work with them, so that they have a great time during the sessions and you come away with beautiful and meaningful images. It’s okay if they won’t sit still (and it’s totally fine for them to stay on leash too! Most dogs do, and I can remove the leashes in my editing software after the session.)
Not sure of the best location
This one can be daunting for sure! There are so may options, yet you can’t think of any. Again, don’t worry! The membership is great for telling your story throughout the year in multiple settings. During our planning meeting we will talk to you about your desired look for the images, where they will be displayed, what your pet and families temperaments and needs are etc. That way, I can work with you to select the best locations for you and your family.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some answers to common questions you might have regarding the membership
Are these photo sessions just for my dog, or can others be in them too?
While your dog will certainly have the spotlight, I think it’s super meaningful to include the entire family in the membership. You don’t have to be in the photos. But, later on, when you look back having a few will be meaningful. So, I encourage you to participate in at least one session. If you also have a cat or other pets, we can certainly plan some sessions around them too. If you have a family (especially with kids) memberships are great to truly capture memories of your entire family!
Will I get my digital files right away?
Yes, you will receive your digital files along with each session. Once you signup and schedule your first session, you will have your image reveal after the session to see your images and select your favorites. Then, you will receive your gallery link. With each session we will add photos to your gallery.
What if I sign up and there aren’t any session dates that work for me?
While I can’t guarantee that a specific date and time will be available, I am making a wide variety of dates and times available. You also will have priority scheduling. So, if you’re one of the first to look at the calendar and book and have a little wiggle room, you will likely find dates that work. Any session that takes place at a special location, such as the flower farm might only be available on certain days and times due to their availability and things like peak bloom time.
What will I be able to get with my artwork credit?
Your artwork credit can be used for any artwork available, such as wall art, photo boxes, desktop displays or albums. Prices of each product range based upon size and finish selected. On average people spend around $2200 on wall art, albums and gifts. Your artwork credit will be applied to whatever you spend. However, what you spend is completely up to you. Some spend more, some spend less. Most people would like a nice album and a piece for their wall. If you would like a large album and several pieces for your wall or to decorate the whole house, that might go past $5,000. It’s all up to you. I will go over full artwork pricing during your planning call based on what you are looking for. This way you have a clear picture of what you could get.
What happens after I sign up?
After you fill out the enrollment form, and make your first payment you will be directed to my calendar to setup your planning meeting. This is when I will meet with you over zoom to discuss all the details of your membership and start planning your sessions. This is also when I will answer any questions. After your planning meeting you will get a link to my calendar, where you can schedule your photo sessions based on your availability. My calendar link will be sent out twice per year. In February for spring/summer and in July for fall/winter.
Does this membership last an entire year from the date of my enrollment?
Yes. There is one enrollment period each year. Your membership and first payment will start the month you enroll. You will be billed for 11 consecutive months after that. Your membership will be renewed if desired the following year. Your seasonal limited edition sessions will happen in the spring and in the fall. Then, we will schedule other sessions throughout the year.
