”Dog Days of Summer” Benefit Photo Book
Do you want your dog to be published in a book, while raising money and awareness for a fantastic local organization?
Make a difference while showcasing your dog! Imagine your pup enjoying summer and being published in our first benefit photo book “Dog Days of Summer”! You’ll be helping to raise pet cancer awareness and funding for Fetch A Cure! Selected pups will have the opportunity to participate in a curated photo shoot highlighting some of our favorite summer activities and be published in the book!

DETAILS
Throughout 2024 we will be curating themed photo sessions highlighting classic summer activities. (Picture your pup lounging by the pool with a mocktail or splashing through sprinklers, having fun at the beach, chilling at a baseball game, or serving up lemonade at a lemonade stand). These will be compiled into our first ever photo book “Dog Days of Summer.” Proceeds will benefit Fetch A Cure.
What’s Included:

$175 product credit to use on prints, artwork and digital images from the photo shoot.
Participation in one themed photo shoot
Published in the “Dog Days of Summer” photo book

The option to upgrade your session and double your impact with a custom session for the whole family.
Cost if selected for the book: $225
Enter your dog into the model call below. There will be a series of questions to gauge which dog would be best suited for which photo session (like if they like water or big crowds, the beach etc.).
You will be contacted between July 4-11 if you are being considered for a spot at one of the photo sessions.
FAQ
What if my dog can’t “Sit” or can’t be off leash?
That’s alright! I’ve been working with dogs for years and can work with dogs of all temperaments. For these sessions, a solid sit and lay down will be helpful. They will be able to stay on leash however. I can remove leashes in post production.
What if I have more than one dog?
That’s great! If you have more than one dog, you can enter all of them to the model call. They might not all be able to participate depending on scheduling, amount of entries etc. If more than one dog is selected, the participation fee will apply separately for each dog. If you would like to have a separate custom photo session including multiple dogs and family members, you will have the opportunity to upgrade your session as well.
What happens if we are selected?
During the week of July 4-11 we will be contacting those we are considering via email and phone to have a planning call. During the planning call we will talk more about your dogs personality to see which photo session they are best suited for, along with your schedule to see availability. Final decisions will be made the following week.
What will the sessions be like?
Each session will be specifically curated for a look and theme. Most will have 2-4 dogs involved in the session. We will focus on the curated group shots for the book first. Then, we will take individual photos of each dog at the photo session location.
When & where will the photo sessions take place?
Photo sessions will begin in mid July and continue throughout the end of September based on availability of participants and locations (and weather). Each curated session will have a specific location based on the theme of the shoot. Most will take place in and around Richmond. A couple may involve traveling a bit farther. We will go over these specifics during your planning meeting.
When will the book be released?
The book will be available for purchase with pre orders starting January 2025. The book is scheduled to be released in May 2025. We will be kicking off with an epic book release party. Exact dates will be forthcoming.
